Make Our Unicorn Mitts In Adult Size!

Make Our Unicorn Mitts In Adult Size!

Love Jane Burns’ unicorn mittens? Find out how to make them in grown up sizes!

Jane Burns’ fabulous unicorn mittens are one of our favourite projects in our September issue. They fit ages 3-8 years but if you want to make them for adults, here’s a great idea!

Step 1

Download Emma Wright’s easy mittens pattern. Click here!

Step 2

Knit the hand section in a gorgeous cream or white aran-weight yarn and use bold stripes of colour for the ribbed cuff.

Step 3

Buy issue 122 September - it’s out now!

Step 4

Turn to page 58 and knit the Inner and Outer Ears, and the Horn, as instructed. Then add the fringe to finish your fabulous unicorn mitts! If you’d like larger unicorn details, use aran yarn and bigger needles.
