The publishers are not responsible for any safety issues arising from items created from our patterns. Handmade items are not tested to toy or product safety standards and may not be as robust as commercially made products.
Toys, decorations garments and accessories with small parts (such as buttons, beads or embellishments) are not suitable for children under 3 years old.
Items with cords, ties, straps or scarves may present a risk of strangulation.
Never allow children under 3 years to handle or wear handmade toys, garments or accessories unsupervised. Always store handmade items safely out of reach.
Always ensure all pieces and parts are sewn on securely.
Use only safety toy stuffing.
Omit buttons, beads or embellishments on toys intended for children — embroider details instead.
