Wondering what everyone is knitting/crocheting at the moment. I usually knit baby clothes and toys but having a break from them at the moment but have downloaded some great patterns from website to knit.
Brenda

The glove workshop was so helpful!! I haven’t used the cable cast on… it did amazingly well to create strong thumb gussets!
Steffanie
Jill has finished Stuart Hillard's cable blanket, "I feel really pleased that I persevered when I struggled with the purple panel and I’m really pleased with the end result!"
"He is so cute and cuddly so he’s staying at grandmas and the grandkids can have cuddles here! I don’t want to give this one away!" Christine, LKT member

We love getting to know our members a little bit better. So each month we do just that!
We spoke to club member Carol Parker about some of their crafting favourites!
I’ve been knitting for over 30 years.
My proudest moment was seeing my daughter when she was younger wearing items that I had knitted.
My needles or my wool. I knit when and wherever possible, I even take my knitting with me when I go on holiday!.
When I was in my late teens, I decided to make a jumper that I had seen in a weekly magazine. I got the wool and needles, knitted it up, only to find it was about 6 sizes too big because I didn't do a tension square first!
It helps you unwind. It keeps my hands and mind active. My knitting kept me going throughout lockdown because it gave me a sense of purpose.
