Yolanda Knitting Pattern

Yolanda

Designer: Helen Ardley

Combine felting with embroidery in Yolanda, this stunning tote by Helen Ardley

Made in beautiful alpaca yarn and then felted in the washing machine, Yolanda by Helen Ardley is a pretty yet sturdy bag. It is knitted in simple stocking stitch and embellished with gorgeous sequins and beads to add that little extra sparkle. This quick knit would make a great gift so why not start stockpiling for Christmas now? Choose pink shades and bright beads for little girls or play it cool with our tonal blue version.

Wash day
When felting your knitting, place the item in a mesh laundry bag to stop your filter getting clogged up with floating fibres. Adding an old towel into the laundry bag as well can also help the felting process. Once your item is felted, rinse by hand in cool water before re-shaping and leaving to dry in the shade.

Before felting: 27cm x 30cm
After felting: 22cm x 24cm
