Yarn: DMC Natura XL Just Cotton, shade 07 Lagon, three 100g balls
Needles: 6.5mm
Tapestry needle
Cushion pad: 40cm long x 15cm diameter

Top knit tip

This pattern requires you to pick up and knit a stitch along a side edge, also known as a selvedge. With RS facing, insert your RH needle into the edge stitch of your work from front to back. Then wrap the yarn around the tip of the needle and pull the yarn through to the front. Repeat this in every stitch, or as directed, until you have picked up the correct number of stitches then continue knitting as instructed.
