What you need to know

Complete your Halloween decor with this sugar skull knitted bunting pattern.

One of the best things about this time of year is the number of celebrations and important events taking place. Why not celebrate in style with this beautiful bunting inspired by the Mexican festival Día de los Muertos or The Day of the Dead? Just remember to label your pieces as you work your way through the pattern. This will save you from confusion when the time comes to assemble your project.

What do I need?

Tapestry needle
Safety toy stuffing

Top knit tip

If you want your bunting to lay flat against the wall, you will need to avoid overstuffing your make. The trick is to tease out the stuffing beforehand, as this will help to prevent unsightly lumps and bumps. You should also add your stuffing gradually instead of rushing through the process. One idea is to stuff all of your skulls at the same time. Then you can ensure they are equal in size and shape.
