Making Up!
Stitch the seams neatly and firmly and attach the ears by oversewing. For the nose and mouth, thread a blunt needle with a single strand of yarn in the colour required and insert the needle into an inconspicuous point, such as the nape of the neck, and bring it through the work to the point where you wish to add embroidery stitches, so that the end of the yarn is lost inside the stuffing. Use satin stitch for the nose and backstitch or split stitch for the mouth.
Join in the round!
For an easy invisible join, first make sure the stitches are not twisted around the needles, then slip the first stitch from the left-hand double-pointed needle purlwise onto the right-hand one, then lift the second stitch on the right-hand double-pointed needle over the first stitch and leave it on the left-hand dpn. You’ve joined the round by swapping the first and last cast-on stitches.
