What you need to know

Use DK yarn from your stash to make Amanda Berry's quick and easy knitted Christmas tree decoration set

Knit your own Christmas decorations with our easy-to-follow knitting pattern. All three knitted Christmas tree decorations can be made using small amounts of DK yarn from your stash. Download and knit them today to add a crafty touch to your Christmas display.

Double-pointed needles are used for the i-cord candy cane. If you prefer straight needles, slip the stitches back to the left needle after every row without turning.

There is an error in the pattern for the Gingerbread man. After working 13 rows in stocking stitch, the following row should read:
Row 33: k12, turn
You do not need to work another 13 rows.

Pudding: 6cm diameter
Gingerbread man: 13.5cm tall
Candy cane: 9cm tall when curved

Yarn: Puddings:(A) Brown, (B) Red, (C) Yellow, less than 25g of each, Gingerbread man and Candy Cane:(A) Brown, (B) Red, (C) Yellow, (D) Black, less than 25g of each, oddment of White DK
Needles: 3.75mm straight, 4mm double-pointed, two (for Candy Cane only)
