What you need to know

Learn to knit a classic springtime daffodil with this easy knitting pattern.

Made using easy, beginner-friendly stitches, Nicola Valiji’s soft-to-the-touch flowers are a real treasure. If you’re new to knitting, this project is a great starting point – you may even find it helpful to practise the petals using a standard non-fluffy yarn. Try adding wire inside the petals to make them positionable, or even create a whole bouquet for someone who loves the narcissi.

What do I need?

Yarn: DK, shade peach, oddment, fluffy DK, shade yellow, small amount
Needles: 4mm
Tapestry needle

Sizing

Width: 11.5cm
