Empire line tops are very flattering and skim over those bumpy bits we all want to hide. This design from lace-addict Anniken Allis features a fantastic bluebell stitch pattern across the bottom part. It is created using a combination of yfwd increases and angled decreases which produce the curved shape of each motif. The yarn used is a semi-solid shade which adds interest to the stocking stitch section without overpowering the lace detail.
