The insulating qualities of the superbly soft alpaca and merino blend yarn will keep your tea warmer for longer so it’s a practical project too. The two designs feature simple but distinctly different stitches, one using rib and moss stitch to create a tweed pattern and the other using garter stitch and honeycomb.

What do I need?

Yarn: Rooster Almerino Aran, shades Custard, Brighton Rock, Cornish, Lagoon, Gooseberry, one 50g ball of each
Needles: 4.5mm, 5mm
Crochet hook: 4mm

Sizing

Tweed: 22cm wide (circumference 44cm), 18 cm deep
Honeycomb: 26cm wide (circumference 52cm) x 18cm deep

Top knit tip

If you’re not a crocheter but would still like to edge the handle and spout openings, we suggest picking up and knitting the stitches or using blanket stitch to finish the edges neatly.
