What you need to know

Lucinda Ganderton's stashbuster baby knit is great for gifting

This colourful knitted sweater features a soft and springy horizontal rib pattern and the yoke, cuffs and hem are worked in a contrasting basketweave stitch that is easy to knit. The main body of the jumper does not involve any shaping, making it super simple. It fits age 6-9 months but could be made large by casting on more stitches (just make sure it is a multiple of four) and working extra stripes.
