What you need to know

Learn rib and cable techniques with Jo Allport’s textured jumper knitting pattern.

Use simple textured techniques to great effect with this striking sweater. Left and right-leaning cables are arranged to make raised dots, while the uneven rib creates vertical stripes. The front, back and sleeves are worked on straight needles to the armholes and then joined to work the yoke in the round. There’s plenty of ease for each size, making it a comfy and cosy garment for wearing at home or around town.
