Cosy up in a classic winter jumper, designed by Siân Brown
Aran-weight yarns work brilliantly for cold-weather garments as they're nice and cosy but aren't so chunky that you'll overheat. This design is knitted in a pure wool yarn, which really lends itself to colourwork as natural fibres easily bind together to give a professional finish. The snowflake motif uses intarsia while the zig-zag trim around the base and at the cuffs is achieved using Fair Isle techniques. Refer to the our info panel to learn the difference between the two.
Don't fancy snowflakes? Just work these stitches in stocking stitch and you'll have a versatile jumper to wear past Christmas and beyond.
