The pet stocking is pretty straightforward to knit and gives you the chance to get to grips with shaping. The pocket is worked like the front panel but is left open to fill with doggy treats. Yarn: Deramores Studio DK, shades Ruby, two 100g balls, Frost, Ebony, Citrine, one 100g ball of each
Needles: 4.5mm
Stitch holder

Top knit tip

Stitch holders look like giant safety pins and you can use them to keep your stitches ‘live’ while you are working on a different section. Open up the holder and insert the bar into your stitches as if you were going to purl them, then slide them off your needle onto the holder. Later on, you’ll be able to knit these stitches straight from the holder.
