    Using 3.5mm needles and yarn C cast on 77 sts
    Row 1-8: yarn C
    Rows 9-16: yarn B
    Rows 17-24: yarn A
    Rows 25-32: yarn D
    Rows 33-40: yarn C
    Rows 41-48: yarn B
    Rows 49-56: yarn A
    Rows 57-64: yarn D
    Rows 65-72: yarn C
    Rows 73-80: yarn B
    Rows 81-88: yarn A
    Cast off

  • Flowers

    NOTE: Alternatively, you can use a knitting doll
    Using 2.75mm dpns and yarn E cast on four sts,

  • Make i-Cord

    K4 sts, push the sts to other end of needle, k4 sts again pulling yarn tight across back of work, rep until work meas 27.5cm
    Cast off, rep to make four flowers

  • To make up

    Weave in all loose ends. Sew up side seams.
    To make flower: Mark i-cord with a pin at intervals of 5.5cm. Sew i-cord together at each set of two adjacent pins, making five loops. Sew button in centre. Space flowers evenly over the cushion opening and sew on (left panel),whilst also sewing on snap fasteners to inside at the same time. Line up second row of snap fasteners and sew on cushion opening (right panel)
