This contemporary knitted tie by Veronica Shaw uses a diagonal straight step stitch. It is inspired by a pattern taken from Knitting Encyclopaedia - 1500 patterns Mon Tricot Collection 1982, which uses a straight step two colour slip stitch. A unique make for Father's Day, it's both practical and on trend, and can be made to suit the recipient's colour tastes.
