What you need to know

Stitch a stocking from a felted jumper, then decorate it with a Fair Isle trim.

What you need

Yarn: 100% Pure Wool DK, (A) shade Red; (B) shade White, one 50g ball of each
Needles: 4mm, straight
Beads: 6mm clear, five for stocking and six for bag
Sewing thread: matching
Jumper: pure wool (essential, otherwise it won’t felt)
Sewing machine
Tapestry needle
Dressmakers’ pins
Ribbon: double faced, velvet, 30cm x 8mm
Crochet hook: 4mm
