What you need to know

Kuzco's poncho pattern from Disney's The Emperors New Groove!

A replica of the poncho Pacha’s wife, Chicha, makes for Kuzco at the end of the film, this poncho is the perfect travel garment to keep you warm and comfortable while on a long hike back to the palace with your best friend! Beginning with a garter collar, the poncho is worked from the top down in the round. The stockinette body increases out with simple M1R and M1L increases, making it easy to lengthen or shorten if desired. The llama patch is done post knitting using intarsia with an i-cord bind off border worked around all sides, then sewn onto the front of the garment. Sized child through adult, make one for the whole family for your next Disney trip!
