What you need to know

Knitted on 12mm needles with two strands of chunky yarn, Tina Barrett’s stylish cape and beret are perfect chunky knits for colder days

Layer up for the autumn with this cosy accessories combo! They are knitted on 12mm needle with two strands of chunky yarn held together. The cape knitting pattern is worked in two identical pieces that are sewn together along the centre back seam. Use eyelets to add a decorative look to the shaping. The front and neckbands are then picked up and worked in garter stitch. Complete the look with a matching beret.
