Susie Johns’ knitted sleeping bag pattern for baby is a great option for advanced beginners.
This sleep sack project fits around baby’s arms, shoulders and neck but still allows plenty of room for a wriggle! Knitted in one size to fit babies from around six weeks to six months, this sleeping bag design features buttons on either side of the front yoke, making it easy to slip on and off without pulling it over your little one’s head. Follow the unisex colour scheme suggested here, or take the opportunity to use up some oddments of yarn from your stash and knit stripes in your own choice of shades.
