Based on a traditional Irish design, these pretty crochet petals from Lucinda Ganderton are perfect for spring
These versatile blooms are inspired by motifs originally found in traditional Irish crochet lace, but by simply switching to DK-weight yarn in bright shades they can be transformed into funky, modern masterpieces. Each of these projects use the same basic flower pattern and make fantastic embellishments. Add an extra round of petals for a blooming corsage, or use hem to decorate cushions and scented sachets to make delightful accessories for the home.
