What you need to know

This plaid throw is easier than it looks – in fact, it's suitable for crochet beginners! First, stitch a meshy base of horizontal stripes. Then, make chains that are woven over and under the mesh to form vertical stripes. Stitch it as shown in Red Heart Super Saver, or make a more generic colour version that displays well long after the Christmas season.
