Introducing a new colour

Each section of colour needs a separate bobbin. As well as a bobbin for your new colour (green) you will need a second bobbin of the old colour (blue) for when you change back.

  • Introducing a new colour - Step 1

    Step 1

    Knit to the required point. Lay the new yarn (green) over the old colour (blue).

  • Introducing a new colour - Step 2

    Step 2

    Take the new yarn underneath the old colour so they twist together as shown.

  • Introducing a new colour - Step 3

    Step 3

    Insert the RH needle into the stitch and knit as normal, using the new yarn.repeat steps 1-3 to change back to the second bobbin of the old colour
