Why We Can’t Wait For The British Wool Show

Head on down to the York Auction Centre, Murton, on 9th-10th August for two days of wonderful wool! This event aims to boost the profile of British Wool and showcase the amazing range of products made by the British Textile Industry, independent artisans and inspiring designer-makers. It’s also a brilliant opportunity to discover exciting yarns and materials for knitting, crochet, spinning, dyeing, weaving and more.

The Sheep Show Man will be returning with his Woolly Friends to perform their entertaining and educational show which is great fun for all the family. Refreshments are available in the show area or you can refuel at the Auction Centre Cafe. There is a large free-of-charge car park on-site, plus shuttle buses will run to and from Leeman Road coach park near York Station.
