Meet Your Let’s Knit Together Community!

Meet Your Let’s Knit Together Community!

Community has been at the heart of Let’s Knit Together from day one, and we know how important it is for you to have like-minded knitters to chat with, share ideas, and ask for advice. We caught up with a few of your fellow members to find out what they love most about your fabulous club. If you’re not a member of the UK’s friendliest knitting community yet, you’ll certainly want to be after reading this! We predict you’ll have major FOMO… so sign up today!

It’s all about YOU!
Don’t just take it from us, our members are here to tell you exactly what it’s like to be part of this one-of-a-kind online knitting community…

“It’s wonderful being in a community for a hobby I adore, and being able to talk about my makes without getting told off for talking too much!”

LISA M

“I like seeing the amazing work that people post, and the hints and tips when you ask for help are invaluable”

RACHEL W

“I enjoy seeing what other people knit and love to comment back to make their day. Also, it’s nice to show my projects and get responses. Being on my own, I feel part of a lovely group of people”

MELANIE G

“I simply adore this group of like-minded knitters, every day we get to see so many creations and clever ideas. The one thing I’ve learned about knitting is that no matter how many years you’ve been doing it, there is always something new to learn”

TERESA D

Knit for a cause!
Each month, your fabulous community rallies together and knits for a good cause – with charities such as Sands, Asthma UK, Project Linus and Knitted Knockers all benefitting from the hard work of the club. From tiny bobble hats for innocent’s Big Knit bottles to tactile twiddlemuffs for dementia sufferers and full patchwork quilts for Project Linus’ vulnerable children. It’s fun, it uses up your stash and it helps those in need – what’s not to love?

Meet Club Member, Wil Jewitt
Say a big hello to Wil Jewitt, who has been in the club since it launched in April! We chatted with Wil to find out what he loves most about being in the exclusive community.

“I would encourage anyone who is thinking of joining the group to do so,” says Wil, who first learnt how to knit when he was ten years old. “It’s so supportive – everyone is always positive and offers help and advice. Knitting and being creative means a tremendous amount to me, and gives me a reason to get up in the morning. I love the fact that I belong to this group, where we all enjoy the same things and can share ideas. I have always been interested in being creative. I started working in a shop that sold craft supplies in 2018 and it really spurred me into trying different hobbies, and enabled me to offer advice to the customers. Following a life-changing event in August 2019, I have unfortunately been at home sick. However, this has enabled me to develop my knitting and crochet skills. Let’s Knit Together has proved so valuable and helped me to remain sane and practice physiotherapy – especially during the lockdown period. I love the patterns – the Birdie Blanket Knitalong and the Peas in a Pod are my current favourites. Sachiyo Ishii is my top designer, as I enjoy making toys – I’ve already made an octopus, unicorn, Harry Potter and other characters as Christmas gifts this year!”

Love the sound of this one-of-a-kind knitting community? We’d love to welcome you all into the club. Sign up today and start sharing your projects and making friends right away.
