Living Crafts is returning to Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, from the 10th-13th May! Set in the beautiful parkland of this stately home, it’s a great day out for all the family. Here are just a few things to look forward to at the event!
Clever Crafters
Artisan makers from across the country will be showcasing their wares at this fabulous event. “This is a true celebration of British craftsmanship selected for its quality, design and individuality,” says organiser Robin Younger. Look out for the Emerging Designers Pavilion where you’ll find up-and-coming crafters.
Gorgeous Gifts
Whether you’re present-hunting for friends, family - or even yourself - be prepared to shop ‘til you drop! There’ll be hundreds of retailers selling their handiwork and with prices to suit all budgets, this is the perfect place to check some names off your gift-buying list.
Fantastic workshops
There’s no better way to learn than having an expert show you how. You can discover how to make lampshades, shoes and more with this year’s fabulous programme of workshops. Try your hand a paper cutting, felt-making, and block printing, amongst others. Pre-book your place at livingcrafts.co.uk

Free Demos
Around the showground, you’ll be able to watch one of the fantastic demonstrations led by talented artisans. They’ll be showing you a whole variety of techniques from spinning and quilting to pot-throwing and cider making - you could even have a go yourself! Discover the dramatic art of raku firing or stop by the Living History Village where you’ll be able to see crafters using ancient and traditional techniques.
Food & Drink
As well as impressive handmade crafts, you’ll also be able to stock up on tasty treats in the Food and Drink tent. You’ll find goodies from specialist producers to take home and enjoy, plus there’ll be delicious refreshments to enjoy on the day, including traditional cream teas, wood-fired pizza and artisan ice creams!
