What you need to know

You can make Val Pierce's puffin toy project for under five pounds – yes really!

Knitted birds are all the rage this season, and this bright beaked puffin is certain to win you over! Craig is a relatively simple make that uses basic knitting and crochet stitches. He's also knit flat, meaning he's suitable for beginners. Here at Let's Knit Together, we think his chubby body only adds to his charm, as it means he's incredibly cuddly and perfect to gift to children.

What do I need?
