What you need to know

We’re going back to colourwork now with the latest part of our Mystery Blanket, things are really starting to come together! This time, designer Rosie has used a clever long stitch technique to create a repeated floral bloom design. It’s the perfect introduction to colourwork for anyone who hasn’t tried it before – let’s get started!

Please note the following pattern correction:
Row 7: k4 A, * make flower E, k4 A, rep from * to end
Row 8: k2, p2, p2tog, p1, p2tog, p1, p2tog, * p3, p2tog, p1, p2tog, p1, p2tog, rep from * to last three sts, p1, k2

Then
Row 13: k8 A, * make flower E, k4 A, rep from * to four sts, k4 A
Cut yarn E, cont in yarn A only
Row 14: k2, p6, * p2tog, p1, p2tog, p1, p2tog, p3, rep from * to last four sts, p3, k2
