What you need to know

It’s the spookiest time of the year – so cast on for this Calavera doll right away!

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be bringing you a brand-new comfort doll every month, and this time it's getting spooky! Crafted by designer Áine Marriott, our monochrome skeleton is adorned with a colourful garland of flowers, reminiscent of a traditional sugar skull. You can use small balls of black and white to work the face in intarsia, rather than carrying the yarn across the back of the white section. The black yarn will show through when the head is stuffed, so don’t skip this step!
