Colourful DK and simple double crochet stitches make Irene Strange's bunny pattern the perfect Easter gift
Keen knitters and crocheters will be familiar with the wonderful world of amigurumi – the Japanese art of yarn crafting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. Cute and distinctive, the style is perfect for the nursery or playroom. Lester is made using DK yarn in bright colours, but you can crochet him in more realistic bunny colours if you so choose. Designer Irene Strange has used black safety toy eyes, but if you are giving Lester to a very small child, we advise you embroider them on instead.
