Some text was omitted. Instead of Buttonholes it should read: TO MAKE UP Join side seams from leg cuff to waist, sewing edges of front ribs to back waist rib. Place a marker in centre of back waist rib then pin ends of straps on inside of rib, 5 cm (2 in) either side of centre marker (they will be 10 cm (4 in) apart). Sew securely in place. Sew a button on end of each strap, cross straps over and button to bib. Sew buttons onto back leg edging to match buttonholes. Pin out dungarees to meas given. Cover with a clean damp tea towel and leave to dry
