Three new safari toys to make! Make a knitted elephant, giraffe and hippopotamus.
Meet Frankie, Finn and Flo! Our bedtime bunch are cute and colourful playmates and can be made from small amounts of DK yarn. They're knitted in the round so are a great opportunity to try out double-pointed needles, or you can adapt the pattern using the information in the Knitwise panel. Remember to sew on all the pieces really securely and don't forget to check your tension.
If you'd like to adapt the patterns for knitting on straight needles, cast on two extra stitches on each piece for seaming - work these stitches in stocking stitch. You will also need to purl every alternate row to keep the stocking stitch pattern correct.
Don't forget to save your PDFs to your computer or tablet device as soon as it has been downloaded.
