What you need to know

Knit or crochet your poppy for Remembrance and help to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

This simple, beginner-friendly pattern is a meaningful way to remember and honour those who served, while raising money to support the vital work of the Royal British Legion. Once you have completed your poppies, you are welcome to post them to RBL by Friday 23rd October, to join a display at a London Poppy Day event on Thursday 29th October, at this address:

What you need


DK yarn, red (one ball will make a lot of poppies); black, scrap or black button
Knitting needles: 3.5mm or 3.75mm
Crochet hook: 3mm or 3.5mm
