Top knit tips

To successfully stuff your knitted toy, it is essential that you tease out your stuffing beforehand. This will prevent unsightly lumps and bumps. Another tip is to take your time. You need to strike the perfect balance between over and under stuffing your project, so don’t be afraid to start again if your toy doesn’t sit right. Finally, you should make use of a smaller needle, as this will help you to reach awkward areas such as the feet and nose.

If you would prefer to make this a stand-alone toy, omit the lining and handles and then stuff the main body firmly before attaching the legs.
