What do I need?

Yarn: Patons Smoothie DK, shade 01024 Pine, one 100g ball
Needles: 3mm
Earring hooks: two
Beads: seed, red, four
Tapestry needle

Sizing

Holly leaf length: 4cm
Completed earring width: 5.5cm

Top knit tips

To form a picot, cast on three stitches, then cast one off knitwise, leaving you with one stitch on the right-hand needle. Transfer the stitch on the right needle back onto the left, so that you have two stitches on the left and a bump underneath them. The bump you’ve made is a picot!
