What you need to know

We’re very excited to bring you the third part of our Easter Knitalong! In this instalment we’ll be adding a whole group of friendly faces – with a sweet bunny rabbit, a chick, a cow, a pig and a sheep. They’re a fun way to add a non-chocolate element to your Easter egg hunt. Each one only takes small amounts of yarn and can be knitted up in no time – why not make a whole collection of animals to be played with all year round?

"I loved creating this joyful Easter collection for Let's Knit Together. The basket is a great way to learn basketweave stitch, and those little critters are the perfect addition to the chocolate treats that will be stuffed into the basket. Top it all off with a fun headband and you're good to go!"

To reduce the number of stitches on a knit row, pulling the shaping in to the right, you'll often see 'k2tog' towards the end of pattern row. This means 'knit 2 stitches together' as one.
