What you need
A note from Summer Lee: My friends, this is a true stash-busting project. I used so many little odds and ends with no labels I couldn’t begin to tell you colors or brands. But I can give you the base color and the amount of yarn you’ll need, and that’s something, right?
Yarn: Hedgehog Fibres Sock [90% superwash merino/10% nylon; 437 yards (400 m); 3½ ounces (100 g)]: (56) 68 (82, 98, 116) yards [(51) 62 (75, 90, 106)) m] (MC)
CC colors: You’ll need a total of (38) 51 (67, 74, 90) yards [(35) 47 (61, 68, 82) m] of fingering weight sock yarn, divided however you see fit between the colors you use.
Needles: 2.25mm (US size 1); 2.75mm (US size 2)
Stitch markers (including a clasp marker)

Summer Lee is a knitwear designer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who began her business, Summer Lee Design Co., in 2020. Since then, she’s become known for her stellar sock patterns and has grown an extraordinary following in the knitting community. Her first book, The Sock Project, was published by Abrams in 2024.
