Top knit tip

The raglan shaping on this jumper is a feature of the design, creating an attractive sloped detail towards the front neck, and as such it’s important that you use the correct method of decreasing. Skpo (slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over) is used at the beginning of a right side row and leans to the left, whilst k2tog (knit two together) is used at the end and leans to the right. Take care not to mix these up, as although you’ll have the right number of stitches your shaping will not look as pleasing.
