Two days ago, our poor Christmas knitter called in sick in order to get more knitting done in time. Was it worth it?
Everyone in the office looked at me very strangely when I walked in after only a day off with food poisoning. In order to allay my boss’s suspicions, I am having to work late for these last few days. And when I say late,I mean late. As in, late enough to stop me doing any knitting at all!
Luckily, this weekend I can make Gerry’s multi-striped iPad cosy – provided I leave the washing up, housework and everything else that needs doing. It’s a hard life.
