Issue 24

Shirley (page 42)

For the neck divide on Shirley's front bodice you are instructed to...
work seven sts, sl next five sts onto a holder, work seven sts.

This is a mistake and the middle five sts should be cast off instead of being placed on a holder.

If you have already passed this point then the designer has provided instructions for an invisible cast off to allow you to cast off those sts:
With wrong side of dress facing, working from the left hand side, slip stitches onto a knitting needle, rejoin yarn and cast off sts in moss stitch. Neatly work in the ends of yarn on either side of the neck catching them to the bodice. This should give an almost invisible join.
