What you need to know

Patch, Val adorable teddy, is perfect for donating to a good cause.

This cuddly bear uses an assortment of different coloured and textured DK yarn and not only gives you the opportunity to use up some of your stash, but is a great project for donating to hospitals, children's homes and other great causes. We've opted for knitted patches as embellishments as they're safer for little ones and make this bear irresistibly cute!

What do I need?

Yarn: oddments of DK, any colours, 100g total, black or brown yam for face
Needles: 4mm
Safety toy stuffing

Sizing

Patch stands 30cm tall

Top Knit Tips

Use your stash of DK yarn to make Patch for your favourite charity. Follow my pastel colour choices or use bright shades instead.

Remember to sew on all the elements of your bear really securely and over sew the seam several times for added strength.

Perfect match:
Patch is designed to be made in any colourways you have in your stash but if you want to make one the same as ours, use colours as follows:
- Yellow for head, body, and striped arm
- Light blue for body and leg
- Glittery pink for body and leg
- Mint green for ears, circle, patch and back of body
- Dark pink for large heart and patch
- Variegated pink for back of body
- Cream for back of body
- Lilac for arm and small heart
- Dark blue for spot and muzzle
- Bright green for spot
