Children grow up before you know it, and this cheerful, garden-inspired wall hanging is just the thing for measuring their progress. The background is worked in chunky yam, so will knit up really quickly. This is a great project for beginners and the flower petals and leaves will give plenty of opportunity to practise shaping. If you want to make this for a younger child, omit the ladybird embellishments and embroider the numbers instead.
