What you need to know

Follow Nicola Valiji’s quick and easy knitting pattern to make this pumpkin tea cosy.

Anyone fancy a brew? This autumnal pumpkin cosy is knitted in pure British wool from Shetland. Sheep’s fibres have brilliant insulating properties so will keep your cup of tea even hotter for longer. It’s a quick and simple wide rib pattern with contrasting stocking stitch stalk and leaves, so is well-suited to beginners who want to move on to basic shaping.

Yarn: Jamieson's of Shetland DK, shades 470 Pumpkin, two 25g balls, 790 Celtic, one 25g ball
Needles: 3.75mm
