Crochet Club: Meet the Designers

There’s a brand new and exciting magazine coming your way…

In just under a month, there’s a brand new and exciting magazine coming your way – Crochet Club. It’ll be an all-in-one magazine and kit, giving you a results-tonight experience that’s ideal for beginners and experts alike. What’s even better, with more than 55 projects and an 8-ball yarn kit included in every issue, it’s exceptional value for money! Read on to find out about the designers getting involved…

Heather Gibbs

Heather Gibbs

Heather's an award-winning blogger and self-professed amigurumi fanatic, who'll bring her cute critter patterns to Crochet Club! Heather says, “what I love about making amigurumi is that there’s always a new way you can create little characters to make them unique” – and unique they certainly are! Look out for her lovely owl and pony patterns in the launch issue.

Sarah Louise Read

Sarah Louise Read

Sarah made an unexpected foray into craft when her husband bet her she couldn't knit – several years later, she's a talented self-taught crocheter, knitter and stitcher with a whole host of beautiful creations to show for it! You'll find her cute patterns at Stitch Witch Designs, featuring everything from unicorns to dinosaurs and festive figurines. She's designed several projects for the upcoming issue of Crochet Club, including cute bunnies and puppies – what more could we want!

Hannah Cooper

Hannah Cooper

Known in crochet circles for her quirky and charming makes – from astronauts to doughnuts and pretty much anything in between – Hannah loves to use bright colours and capture makers' imagination. We're absolutely obsessed with the little mermaids she's created for the launch issue; they'd be a fab gift for young girls.

Sarah Jane Hicks

Sarah Jane Hicks

Sarah has been crafting from an early age, and likes creating simple yet fun projects which will inspire others to have a go. She's also a big believer that you should make time to craft, no matter how busy your life is: “I always try to find time to crochet, it helps me unwind after a busy day. I can’t read whilst travelling in a car but I recently discovered I can crochet, which is a bonus on long car journeys.” Check out her adorable baby bootees and coasters in the upcoming issue!

Lucinda Ganderton

Lucinda Ganderton

Lucinda's a multi-crafting whizz with a whole host of experience. She's penned a number of crochet, needlecraft and knitting books, created handy kits and contributed to designs for The Sunday Telegraph, The Observer and Woman's Weekly. She'll be bringing her adorable mini flowers project to the launch issue, which we absolutely adore!

It’s pretty clear that this talented bunch will be providing an amazing range of crochet patterns, so don’t forget to put the 20th December in your diaries and head out to a participating retailer to grab your copy! You can also subscribe here.
