What you need to know

Use DK yarn, double-pointed needles and slip stitch colourwork to knit Lynne Rowe's fingerless mittens pattern

We all know how clumsy gloves can feel and how annoying it can be taking them off every time you want to use a touch screen. The solution? Fingerless mittens! These snug makes will keep your palms nice and warm without getting in the way when you're out and about. A good alternative to Fair Isle, they are made using a four row pattern repeat and a slip stitch to create a tweed fabric effect.

NOTE: these mittens are worked in the round on double-pointed needles
