What you need to know

Knit a doll to be treasured for generations with Val Pierce's classic summer doll knitting pattern, with outfits for boy and girl dolls.

Say hello to Jemima, our fabulous doll by Val Pierce. She's knitted in DK acrylic yarn. The socks and knickers are part of the doll itself, speeding up the knitting process. We've got full doll knitting pattern, plus instructions on adapting the pattern to make a boy doll. We've also got boy and girl dolls' clothing patterns so your little one can have fun dressing up their dolls. The girl dolls' clothes include a daytime and a night outfit, which includes a tiny teddy bear. Download the knitting pattern today.

PATTERN UPDATE
Unfortunately there was a misprint in the number of rows given for the body and head. After joining yarn B, the instructions should read:
Work 28 rows in st st, place markers at each end of last row to indicate line for neck, cont in yarn B for a further 26 rows, ending with a p row.
While these figures do seem similar, remember that this is only for the pink section of the body and half of the body has already been worked in yarn A.
