Issue 80

Meeko (page 47)

All measurements should be taken from the end of the rolled edge.
In a couple of places, the pattern tells you to continue until work meas XX sts - this should be cm

The raglan shaping has been mistranslated and should be worked as folls:

BACK (3rd, 4th and 5th sizes only) - shape raglan
> Cast off three sts at beg of next two rows. - (-, 74, 80, 86) sts
> Casting off at beg of every row, * cast off one st (-, -, 10, 18, 20) times, then two sts twice, rep from * - (-, 2, 1, 1) more times, then cast off one st ten times
AT THE SAME TIME shape back opening as instructed

Once you have split for the back opening, you will be working each side separately, so the raglan shaping will need to be adjusted accordingly.
Keep the pattern correct by continuing from where you left off before dividing for the back sections, but only decrease at one edge for the raglans.
Effectively you will be working as follows:
> Casting off at beg of every RS row for the right side of the back, * cast off one st - (-, 5, 9, 10) times, then two sts once, rep from * - (-, 2, 1, 1) more times, then cast off one st five times

For the left side of the back, you will be casting off at the beginning of every WS row.

FRONT - shape raglan
> Cast off three sts at beg of next two rows. 64 (68, 74, 80, 86) sts
> Casting off at beg of every row, * cast off one st 4 (8, 10, 18, 20) times, then two sts twice, rep from * 4 (2, 2, 1, 1) more times, then cast off one st 0 (4, 2, 2, 2) times
AT THE SAME TIME, when Chart is complete, cont in yarn A only until work meas 17 (20, 23, 25, 27) sts from end of rolled edge, ending after WS row, then work neck shaping as instructed

Again, when you have divided for the neck shaping you will need to work the remaining raglan shapings separately. Keep the pattern correct and continue your raglan shaping from where you left off before dividing, but only cast off at one edge for the raglans.
Effectively, you will be working as folls:
> Casting off at the beg of every RS row for the left side of the front, * cast off one st 2 (4, 5, 9, 10) times, then two sts once, rep from * 4 (2, 2, 1, 1) more times, then cast off one st 0 (2, 1, 1, 1) times

For the right side of the front, cast off at the beginning of every WS row.

SLEEVES - shape raglan
> Cast off three sts at beg of next two rows. 50 (54, 60, 66, 72) sts
> Casting off at beg of every row, * cast off one st 4 (8, 10, 18, 20) times, then two sts twice, rep from * 4 (2, 2, 1, 1) more times, then cast off 0 (1, 1, 1, 1) st 0 (4, 2, 2, 2) times.
10 (14, 16, 20, 22) sts
> Cont without shaping until work meas 18 (22.5, 25, 28.5, 31) sts, ending after a WS row

Cont as given in pattern to end

Jessica (page 79)

On the Sleeves, do not work the edging rows when working 'as for Back.'

Sophie (page 57)

The instructions for picking up stitches for the neckband are incorrect - the neckband should run around the entire opening edge. It should read:

Using 3.25mm circular needle, with RS facing and starting at bottom edge, pick up and k 110 (112, 114, 118, 120, 122, 124, 128) sts evenly up right front, k39 (40, 43, 44, 47, 48, 51, 52) sts from Back neck holder, pick up and k 110 (112, 114, 118, 120, 122, 124, 128) sts evenly down left side of
front, ending at bottom edge. 259 (264, 271, 276, 287, 292, 299, 308) sts
Work back and forth in rows as instructed

George (leaflet) (page 1)

There is a misprint on the legs, where it says Rows 9-11: p

This should read, Rows 9 AND 11: p

Silverstone (page 75)

There is a missing symbol on the key as C3R has accidentally been duplicated. Here is the symbol for C3L.

Elton (page 12)

There is a row missing at the beginning of the Body.
[] Foundation row: p
[] Row 1: kfb in each st to end. 12 sts
[] Row 2: p
[] Row 3: * k1, kfb in next st, rep from * to end. 18 sts
Continue as given in the pattern
