Knit Wise

Fast and loose
This pattern calls for the cast off to be fairly loose. It can be all to easy to make the mistake of casting off too tightly which may produce an edge that is shorter than the width of the fabric. To help you cast off loosely, use a needle one or two sizes larger than required for the previous rows. This ensures that the cast off edge retains its stretch.
