About the Yarn
Rowan Felted Tweed Chunky is a natural yarn comprising 50% merino, 25% alpaca and 25% viscose. The colourful tweed flecks give it a wonderful texture and it is warm yet light – perfect for the winter months. We’ve opted for a neutral shade but there are 11 other fab colourways to choose from.

Need an Alternative?
Wendy Mode Chunky blends 50% wool with 50% acrylic to make a soft yet durable, practical yarn. It’s machine washable which is ideal for outerwear and comes in a great selection of solid shades.

Knit Wise

There are several different types of cable needle available but the two most common are kinked or straight. The former is ideal for beginners as the v-shape helps prevent the stitches sliding off the end. When you become more confident with the technique, you may want to change to a straight needle which enables you to work faster. Cable needles do not always come in specific sizes and are usually found in sets of small, medium and large. With this project opt for the biggest one.
